Mental Illness and Homelessness 

The rising number of mentally ill homeless people in America has left governments at all levels searching for answers. The movement to release those with severe mental illness from outdated institutions has left too many patients living on the street with no access to treatment. However, new approaches to low-cost housing and urban treatment centers are showing promise for the future.
