Teen Culture Across the Generations 

Teen culture refers to the way that teens express themselves, make sense of the world, have fun, and form connections with peers. Although todays teens may see their lives as very different from those of their parents and grandparents when they were teens, some aspects of teen culture stay the same. Since the 1950s, teen culture has been an important way for teens to develop identities separate from their parents and explore who they want to be.
